About

This striking aerial photograph captures a high-angle perspective of a semi-trailer truck driving along a straight, light-colored road that bisects an expansive red desert terrain. Thick white dust billows behind the moving vehicle, contrasting sharply with the deep rust-colored earth and dark patches of sparse vegetation or standing water. The composition emphasizes the vast scale of the arid landscape against the solitary line of infrastructure. Natural lighting illuminates the scene from above, highlighting the rich earthy tones and textural variations of the ground. Photographed by Garth Oriander in Melbourne.
