Description

This photograph by London-based photographer Adam Hinton captures an urban courtyard nestled between tall concrete brutalist residential buildings. Slender pine trees rise vertically through the center of the frame, framed by dark tree trunks in the immediate foreground. Sunlight filters through the overhead branches, casting bright patches of light onto the grassy ground below. Air conditioning units are visible mounted on the balconies of the Brutalist structure on the right. The composition offers a documentary perspective on urban residential environments.
