Description

This vibrant illustration by Aart-jan Venema features two anthropomorphic animal characters aboard a white boat on a blue river. On the left, a fox character wearing a striped shirt holds a pole while standing near the bow. On the right, a chimpanzee character wearing a tan hat and coat faces the fox with raised hands. The scene is framed by lush tropical foliage and trees, with a small wooden stilt house visible in the background across the water. The artwork employs expressive brushstrokes, visible ink lines, and bold watercolor-style washes.
